Real Ale and Whiskey
Tucked away inside Automatic is Malt, our real ale & whiskey bar. Open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays from 5pm, it serves as the perfect place for theatre goers to The MET to enjoy a pre-show pint, a place for whiskey aficionados, or anyone who enjoys the ultimate candle lit ambience it provides.
With a choice of 4 cask ales always available, including our very own ‘Silver Fox’ it’s no wonder that in just 3 years of opening it has already taken residence in CAMRA’s long running good beer guide.
Whiskey 100 Club
A wee dram?? We have a menu of 100 of (what we think) some of the finest and most diverse whiskies from around the world. The challenge – To sample each and every one from the range.Its a lifetime challenge -so take as long you need. The reward – See your name carved onto our Whiskey 100 board, and receive a specially selected bottle of single malt Whisky.
We’ll be holding regular Whiskey Tasting events to help you along & you’ll get the first chance to book on as Whiskey 100 club member.
